NewsArticle schema error – “@type” sometimes appearing as “[@type”

Hi,
I submitted an article page of my news website to validator.schema.org, and it gave me 4 errors of instances where “@type” appeared as “[@type”. Below is a link for this test result:
I haven’t adjusted the schema data on my pages. This happens on all of my articles. I’ve isolated the issue down to the PublishPress Authors plugin by disabling it, which stopped the issue from appearing in validator.schema.org.
