News sitemap error

  • Hi, the error talks about a missing XML tag which could mean the indexer is seeing an error page in HTML format or something else. Can you share the URL of your news sitemap?

    I noticed that your plugin conflicts with the plugin “XML Sitemaps” (by Auctollo) which should only create NO news sitemaps.

    So you are saying you are using XML Sitemaps by Auctollo and XML Sitemap & Google News together? I’ll try to reproduce the error…

    Update: I was not able to reproduce any issues with both XML Sitemaps by Auctollo for the regular sitemap and XML Sitemap & Google News for the news sitemap.

    I’d really need to see your live news sitemap to be able to learn more…

    Hi, I was able to solve the problem.
    I don’t know why but the Litespeed cache plugin created a cached page which was not removed. I had to clear the cache folder manually on my server.
    Problem solved.
