News posts not showing

  • Hi,

    For some reason on the news section of our website the first 10 articles do not initially show when you go to the news page. But if you click the right arrow to go to the next 10 articles these load up and then if you click the left arrow to go back to the first 10 these then show up fine.

    Any ideas why the first 10 aren’t showing when I first go onto the page and how to fix this?

    I am fairly new to wordpress so be gentle haha.

    Which version of WordPress you have installed?

    You can check your WordPress version in Dashboard >> Updates section of your WordPress Admin Area or you can scroll down to any page of the admin area until you get to the footer. You would be able to see the WordPress version there: https://tinyurl.com/yxmbnbfu

    Was this problem before also? ??

    It is Version 5.2.2. As far as I no this is a new problem over the last week.

    Have you installed any new plugins, updated the existing one, or updated your theme?

    Could you please deactivate (don’t delete them) your all plugins and check if the problem is still there?

    Yes the website has over 20 active plugins, it was created by the previous designer. I’m a bit worried if I deactivate them all will other parts of the site not break?

    I can understand your point. But don’t worry, you can again activate them. Your site would not break. Only remember not to delete any plugin and only deactivate it.

    After deactivation of the plugin, please check if the problem is resolved?

    If the problem is still there then you need to contact your theme provider.

    I have checked again, more chances are, the issue is coming from the theme.
