News not showing?

Hi – I’m new to WordPress, and can’t figure out why the news isn’t showing.
I have downloaded and installed the plugin.
I’ve gone to Manage Scrolling News settings and added news.
I’ve set it up on a Widget, but nothing shows but the Title for the Widget.
Help?
