News Feed with a custom button link

  • I’m looking to have a custom news feed for my site that maybe relies on posts to curate. I’m having trouble finding a plugin that will let me use the “Read more” button often seen on preview posts to link to another website where the full article can be found. Most plugins I’ve found does not let me customize the “Read more” button.

    The default read more link can be altered via “the_content_more_link” filter. It will require some custom PHP coding. Some non-coders have had some success asking ChatGPT for the code, but if it’s slightly flawed it will not work and you’d need to know PHP coding to spot the problem. Wouldn’t hurt to try though.
