News doesn’t refresh

    We’re having problems with the news not refreshing unless the page is refreshed. Is this a problem, or is there a way to cause it to auto-refresh the news headlines?

    Also, sometimes the News headline date (e.g. 43 minutes ago) shows a negative time (e.g. “-30 minutes ago” … so … 30 minutes in the future?). Any way around this?

    Currently, the news plugin does not automatically refresh its content unless the page is refreshed. There is no auto-refresh in the news plugin.

    Thank you for reporting the negative time issue. This may be related to an issue with timezones that we must fix. Can you please let us know the timezone where this is being displayed? If you can provide a URL where this can be reproduced it will help as well.

    It can be found at: https://solidrock.enterprises/finance/ticker/
    It is not currently showing negative times … it is only when displayed on some computers. I’m not sure how the time is calculated. It is in CST. Server – I believe – is in EST.
