News displaying in a long Vertical Static Format vs Scrolling in a small area

Hello, you’ve helped me in the past – Thanks.

I just did updates in the blog, and something went amiss with the news scroller after updates.

The news is just in a static vertical line in the sidebar, versus scrolling in a small widget type of manner.

Be thankful for any help.
