Newly uploaded pictures not visible from Dashboard

    Hi. I’ve done some searching and seen multiple picture problems. But my problem seems different from the issues I’ve read about. My site is https://welcomebackrosenthal.com
    And all the photos I had in various posts are still there, but as of last night (having done nothing differently) new uploads don’t show up. All I get are blue boxes where the photos should be and all previously uploaded photos are blue boxes from the Manage or Write areas. And when I use the visual editor the lower set of options have disappeared. There was the file send etc and below that a second set of buttons but I’ve forgotten what they say (maybe edit or something).

    Here are a few facts. I use Firefox, I cleared cache and restarted browser. I then tried on Internet Explorer. I then used an entirely different computer. The photo file sizes are 30-40k and the dimensions don’t exceed 500 pixels usually. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    I imagine this is a VERY rare situation, but one that if you run into will be very hard to identify. After about 12 hours I managed to fix it. I wont bore you with all the things I tried but what ended up fixing the situation only took 2 minutes.

    I went to cpanel and accessed the “MySQL? Databases” and then looked at my WP database, saw lots of errors, used the “MySQL Account Maintenance” to run a repair. And all the errors turned to OK’s. My picuters came back. The end.
