    I noticed that when I import a .csv file with all the customers from my old shop into the new shop the are imported successfully.
    But some time later I don’t know how long, maybe weeks all the newly imported customers are gone again…
    I imported them again, same way and again after some time they are gone again…

    How is this possible?

    Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the issue you encountered with our plugin.

    We would like to let you know that our user import plugin just inserts the user details into the database from the file and does not involve any user deletion functionality. Therefore, it is unlikely that the plugin itself is responsible for the automatic deletion of imported users. The issue you are facing might be due to some issue on your site.

    To check the issue further, could you please try creating users manually on your site and check if those users are deleted or not?

    I will check daily to so if and when the imported user are deleted again.

    So we are a couple of weeks farther and i went from 218 users to 203…
    I do not know how this could be!
    I have no clue were to begin…

    Hi @dwnl,

    We want to assure you that there is no code in our plugin that can possibly delete any imported customers. Could you please try creating customers manually on your site and check if those customers are deleted or not?

    I added a manual account. Let’s see how long it will take before that one disappears, or if it stays.

    This can happen if the Personal data retention for inactive accounts is set with a specific value.

    To check if this is the case, can you please navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Accounts & Privacy and scroll down to the Personal data retention section.

    Next, check if the “Retain inactive accounts” option has a value set:

    If so, you can remove the value and leave the option blank to retain this data indefinitely.
