Firstly thanks for this awesome plugin – working great except for one thing for me..

After initial setup on my multisite, the certificate chain contains every mapped domain and ssl works great on every site. However, after adding a new site and mapping a new domain, I generated a new certificate. For some reason, ssl won’t work on this new domain.

If I check it using an ssl checker such as https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html, this new domain is not listed in the chain.

    Any idea why?

    Thanks in advance
    Martin

I should add that the WP Encrypt settings page confirms that the new domain is in fact included in the new certificate.

Just restarted Apache and the new certificate is now being used ??
    All sorted!

    Hi,
    Can you help me?
I had the same problem but despite I restart Apache it didn`t work.
You need to do something more than just click in the “Generate Certificate” Button and restart apache?

    Hi @lexkeher

Do you have your initial ssl certificate working for your main domain?

    Hi friend,
It was working before in the main domain.
The problem just occurs in the new added.

    It’s working now.
I am using Bitnami Multisite and bitnami puts the certificates in another place.
If someone else use it, after the “Generate Certificate” button you will need to copy the .pem files from ~/letsencrypt/live/ to /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/ and then restart apache.

    Thank you
