I’ve restored the old 1.3 version on the live site, and updated the test version of the site at https://test.derekbeck.com/vlc/ so you can see what’s going on under safari. thanks.

    Hi Derek,

Thanks for setting up the test site. I can confirm its broken in Safari for me too. The styling issue is a conflict in the theme, I did put an explicit fix in for the same issue in an old version but it’s been lost somewhere along the lines, I’ll make sure its back in the next version.

I’m taking a couple of days off from development, but if you can sit tight on 1.3 I’ll make sure everything is fixed in the next release. I’ll update the thread when that’s done.

    Regards,
    Tom.

I’m in no rush, and thanks for the update.

Any ideas why the “dots” on the bottom have also moved up, even in Chrome, IE, and Firefox?

    Hi Derek,

Yes, it looks like your theme is based on 2012 – there’s some CSS in that theme that applies narrow margins to all elements, including meta slider.

I’ve tidied up the CSS in the next version quite a bit, so it’ll be fixed in that. I also noticed your slider on your test site seems to work in Safari.

    Regards
    Tom.

    Hi Derek,

Please try the latest version, it should sort out the styling. I’m not sure about the safari issue, I think it could be an issue with your theme.

    Regards
    Tom
