• Hi,

I have the Pro version and love it so far, however, when I try to update to the latest version it is causing a critical error on my site. I see a link on how to migrate to the latest version on your plugin page but the link does not work. If you could let me know how to go about updating without errors I would greatly appreciate it.

  • Hi @thesleepreport

Which version of MPG you are using at this time?

Also, do you have license key for activation Pro version?

Can you send screenshot of errors?

I am currently running the Premium Version 1.5.2 .

    – License key for activation pro version is; xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    – I am not sure how to add a screenshot to this but the error says:
    ” Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Multiple Pages Generator by Porthas (Premium).”

Please, edit your message, and remove license key from text, because anybody can use it for own needs.

About update: Version 1.x and 2.x haven’t backward compatibility. It mean, that you need to remove current installation, and install MPG from “from scratch”. Download link

    1. Make backup of your site
    2. Make sure you have source .csv files, for uploading to MPG
    3. Remove MPG 1.5.2
    4. Go to Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin (and upload .zip archive that you downloaded before)
    5. After activation, you will see window for pasting activation code (https://prnt.sc/t9kr2l)
Also, in plugins list you can find link for that (https://prnt.sc/t9krm0)

    6. After activating Pro, click “Create new +” in MPG menu, choose “From scratch”, fill needed fields, upload your source file (for now, .xlsx and .ods supported)
    6. Done

It will not allow me to edit my post to take out activation code. Can you delete this thread?

It doesn’t let us do it either, unfortunately. Best to cancel this subscription and start a new one.

    @thesleepreport No, I can’t delete, I haven’t permission, because I’m just contributor.

What about your problem? Can I mark this thread as resolved?

    1. License key removed.

    2. As this relates to a pro version of the plugin, please use the developers official support channel.
