    Hello Frank,
I have been a great fan of your plugin for years and have been recommending it to everyone. It’s great.

Yesterday, I migrated to a new server, with the latest versions of PHP and now, I am seeing dozens of errors:
Deprecated: Function split() is deprecated in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-includes/rss.php on line 117

That line repeats constantly. I have WP 4.4.1 and your latest plugin version. I don’t know what is wrong.

Oddly, the new version refuses to show images, no matter how I apply the recommended code provided herein, but an old hacked version works to display the image, though it too shows the same error messages.

Also, some other RSS plugins display the error message.

Do you plan any updates to accommodate the latest PHP version?

/wp-includes/rss.php is not part of the Plugin RSSImport. It belongs to the deprecated MagpieRSS. Do not use this anymore!

Are you using something like use_simplepie=0? Switch to SimplePie by setting use_simplepie=1 (Default is false if used with Shortcode, true if used with the PHP function).
