Newer versions don't work

I have to say that this plugin is a life saver and the older versions usually worked perfectly!

But 4.4.x (or maybe even 4.3.x) don’t work anymore. The exports work great, but when I try to import it gives me an error message (sorry, don’t have the message here) and I can’t finish importing the files/data.

Now I’ve tried the 3.9 developer version and it works perfectly.
