\newcommand in preamble

  • Hello,

    As soon as I put a \newcommand into the preamble, QuickLaTeX stops working. Even something simple like \newcommand{\testcommand}{test} results in

    *** QuickLaTeX cannot compile formula:
    f(x)

    *** Error message:
    Error: Cannot create svg file

    for every single formula — without the new macro ever being used.
