• Hello all.

    Please don’t flame me as I know this question may have been asked a zillion times before, I’m new to WordPress and have recently purchased the Photocrati theme as I feel it has the best ecommerce (PayPal) integration, my issue is with the page layout. Please see https://www.hoodson.com, I need to insert two text widgets into the body section, this may not be possible so other ideas are welcomed. These two text widgets will do two purposes, one for general welcome text (on the left) and one for Blog entries (on the right). As you will see I’ve inserted two widgets into the footer but this creates a space between the footer and the gallery, this spaceing is the bit I want to get rid of. I have spoken with Brian from Photocrati support (whome may I add is very supportive) and he suggested pushing the footer closer to the header via a simple CSS code addition

    .iframe_wrapper {
    margin-bottom:-80px;
    }

    it didn’t produce the results I was hoping for, is there a plugin I can install to do this job or is it a hard code job?

    I’d really like my opening page to look like https://www.bastianbauwens.com, I even emailed Bastian to find out how he had done it but it seems he doesn’t want to answer his emails. If someone knows how he did his index page would the please let me know.

    Any help will be warmly welcomed.

    Rich

  • try doing a hard refresh of the page by pressing ctrl+f5 instead. your browser may still be using the old css file.

    Thanks for the reply fonglh, I cleared the browser cache file and I still get the same results, I’m using a MacBook Pro so quickly did a CMD+R to refresh the screen in Safari to no avail…

    I don’t suppose you know of a better way to get two widget ‘zones’ in the body rather than pushing the footer up to meet the header?

    thanks!
