• Hi All

We are total newbies to WP and need some help. we are an online business/science college based in Australia. We are using WPLMS theme. We just unplugged all, and upgraded to lastest WP version. However, when we were de-activating all our plugins, we noticed that several of them would ‘not’ be de-activated:

    Buddypress
    Vibe courses
    Vibe custom t.
    WPLMS cust P/I
    WPLMS front end

So of course, after we upgraded to the new WP, we couldnt re-activate them, because they were never de-activated in the first place.
Is this normal? We reactivated the plugins one by one, but we couldnt ‘test’ each this time due to having to use our old 1998 desktop (long story).
If anyone has the time, can you have a quick look at our site? Please help us!

    Thanks for reading! Merry Xmas.

PS – Since the upgrade, our Woocommerce will no longer allow ‘guests’ to purchase at checkout (ie people who havent set up a signin/login account).

We have ticked the ‘allow guest’ option in WC settings..so we are thinking our web design guy (who we’ve lost contact with) prob. added some code to allow this.

Can anyone help us? We are total newbies.

    Thanks

PPS – we have an update message to update our ‘theme’ to ‘twentyfourteen’ but the example shown is of a ‘online magazines’ theme, whereas ours is WPLMS (learning mgt system) for online courses.

Should we do this update? Or will it install a theme we have never used, therefore ruining all settings & plugins etc.

We have only ever used WPLMS theme package.

    Thanks,

    bh
