newbie to WP looking for some help with Inferno theme

    After many hours searching for a theme that is a perfect fit (almost) of course :)… Inferno-mfv1.3 1.0 by Artisteer is what I have choose but I would now like to place a graphic in the header above the menu but not sure where to start. Could someone help with some pointers? Any help would be appreciated…

  • Well it might be easy, if the graphic there now, some flames, is already a graphic placed in the header. It could be a cut graphic that just fits the other pieces of the flame on the left and right sides. Get me?

    Check in wp-content/themes/your-theme/images. Is there one called header graphic? if so, and it is just the background flames, modify it and replace.

    If not it might be more complicated. You will have to find the header element in your css style. Create a graphic to fit that element and add a link to the graphic so that it shows in the header.

    Use code like this in the header element style: 

    background-image:url('images/header.png');

    And if that does not help please don’t make me walk the plank.
