    Hi there,

I am new to WordPress so please give me a little bit of slack.

I am looking to create a site where users can exchange paid for help. E.g. a demand customer would browse the site for topics and choose a ‘product’, which really would be a person able to help with a specific issue. They would be able to communicate on the site, exchange documents etc. after registration and login. The forum must be payable with a revenue/commission payable to the site and the rest to the person representing the issue chosen.

Filtering for e.g. email addresses, phone numbers etc. i.e. make sure the conversation isn’t taken off forum.

Can I do this in WordPress. How? If not, what do you suggest?

    Thanks!

You can definitely do this in WordPress though it sounds like a rather big project. If you’re not yet familiar with WP, and/or not that technical, then it may prove a little challenging – doable, but challenging. One place to start would be with the bbPress plugin to set up the forums where your customers will search for topics. Then you can go about the customizations that you need. Or there might be more turnkey solutions available, I’m not sure.
