  • I too am having problems with the event link not outputting properly. The link that gets generated on widgets etc has an additional ‘http//’ inserted into the link that kills it.

Here is an example link on my website’s staging server: https://http//gardensbc.flywheelsites.com/events/event/spring-soil-celebration/

I’ve bolded the extra http// in the link above.

You can see a screenshot of the link in the bottom left corner.

    [EDIT]
Also wanted to add that the individual event links DO NOT work on the Event page listings either.

Would love to know if there is a fix coming for this output error, or if it’s anything on my end?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide,

@chris In the widget shortcode, are you using the ‘template’ option? Or do you have a custom widget template?

@ukdeveloper R.e. “blog archive page” – it sounds like you’ve disabled the default plug-in templates. In any case, please see: https://docs.wp-event-organiser.com/theme-integration/

What is a typical url of the event in your case? What is the url of the events page you describe in step 2?

Hi Stephen, thanks for your reply. I’m going to have to pass this along to the web developer to see exactly what’s going on. Will get back to you.
