• Hi everyone,

Please excuse my level of ignorance within this question – I am extremely new to all of this stuff.

I have been playing around with my website (www.PamperingYou.co.uk) to see if I can make my own changes instaed of continually paying somebody to do it for me.

Which is where I have messed up.

I clicked on the new version of WordPress (2.6) and since then my Meta Tags do not seem to work properly. I have All in One SEO fitted.

With this newer version of WordPress I can access All in One in SETTINGS and also on each individual page. In borth of these locations my title/description & keyword tags are present, but when I view the site nothing shows in the title tag except HOME.

I was up most of last night trying to sort this out without luck.
    Anybody have a clue?
    Many thanks,
    Steph

  • Hi Steph, I would check your blog title at the top of settings general,
and also the home title in SEO, ideally they are the same.
    hope you get there.

    Hi Mike,

There was nothing in the Blog title so I have now added the title tag in there. What it shows when I check using Search Status to check the meta tags is that the title, description and keywords all display the title tag wording. The title tag also has HOME included which I have not entered anywhere

Below that there are another set of description and keyword tags (not another title tag) which show the correct wording.

My website is not a blog but a standard website so i wonder if that makes a difference.

    This is soo confusing
