Newbie problem/question

  • Hello. I have set up a blog using one of the templates offered by wordpress. It is ready to go. I also have set up my hosting with an outside hosting company. I have the URLs, etc. They are ready to go. My question is how to upload the site to the host. More specifically, where to find it at wordpress (I know the destination folder at the host). I am familar with FTP. My question is where, on the wordpress end, do I go to get the files to transfer to the host. Thanks very much for your help…

    You will need to explain this… Do you mean you set up a WP blog at wordpress.COM? That’s a different animal. We have nothing to do with it. We are www.remarpro.com

    Look, you either have a free blog at wordpress.COM – and if you have a domain AND you want it pointed to that blog… then talk to the guys over there: https://wordpress.com/products/
    or
    if you want to install the free software downloadable from here on your own domain/hosting – you do NOT need anything from wordpress.com.

    So, which one is your case?
