newbie needs personalised installation help

  • hello,
    I’m new to wordpress. I’ve tried to install it without success and it’s been 2 days (!). I admit, I have very limited knowledge of mysql, etc. But I followed all the instructions, visited this forum, looked at other wp guide on the web …and i’m hopeless. My host has all the wp requirements (surpasshosting), so I don’t understand what’s going on.
