Newbie needs links

  • Can someone like me handle the process of adding links to the Jakarta template? Or should that be left to those far more qualified?

    Who is someone like me? Well, if this page did not provide the buttons to create bold or italic text, I would have been able to do it myself, thus exhausting my complete HTML repertoire. And as to CSS, that refers to a very popular television crime solving drama, doesn’t it? To be sure, I’m not even sure what version of WP I’m using as the hosting service did a complete installation for me. I am using a Mac, though, that much I do know. (lol)

    I have searched these archives but the best answer I found still left me befuddled and feeling dumb.

  • Can you be more specific as to what you want. What links do you want to add, to which part of the template?

    Hi obscure.

    I would like to be able to add links, mainly to other blogs, in the sidebar.

    Thanks.

    Go to the Dashboard.
    Click on Blogroll in the main menu
    Click on Add Link in the secondary menu
    Type in the details and click the add link button.
