Newbie needs help in starting specific example

  • I am new to the whole notion of shortcode and php– just enough to be dangerous – and struggling to use this plugin.

    I want to create a WordPress page with a table of contents, with one line text, and using this plugin for expanded pull down text to further describe that line. And somewhere a link to that section/page.
    What code do I need to create for that purpose?
    Lets call each line of the TOC Line 1, Line 2 etc
    How do I identify the line?
    Lets call the expanded text Ex1, Ex2.
    How to I store and reference/link to Ex1 etc
    I am using WP Theme 2012
    I have Collapse-Pro-Matic active and Collapse-O-Matic inactive on my site
    So this could be in either format

    Do I need to modify CSS? Or any other element?
    Once I can master this I can likely branch out to better things

    So can someone please help me?

    Have you looked at the documentation? There are many examples there that show exactly what you are trying to accomplish.
