Newbie Needs Help Editing Homepage – Desperate

  • I had a website that was done in PHP and I just had someone convert it to WordPress.
    I have telephone numbers appearing on my site which need to be changed and when I do it, the code seems to change on the page and things are no longer centered and a line looses its boldness and size.
    I am going to Page>Edit>Visual or Test I have tried both>make my change>Preview and bingo, everything is a mess.
    What could I be doing wrong?
