• I have taken over a website for an organization. The site uses the Thesis 1.8 theme and several BYOB plugins for widgets. In trying to do a backup of the site prior to upgrading to WP 3.9, I have apparently glitched the header, side bar and footer widgets. Previously they displayed content, but now only show the title and description of the widgets. The header title and description overlays the graphic banner. Is there a way to remove the title and description (text) that a true newbie can accomplish?
I figure that the side bar columns and the footers will be over written with specific material later.
    Thanks for any help.

  • You should check with the theme developers about this. They will certainly want you to upgrade your theme to the latest version, which I think is 2.0. You will also need to upgrade the plugins that are involved. This will probably take care of a few of those glitches.
