Newbie: need urgent help

  • Hi,

    I am just trying to get my website started. I am using an elegant theme (Earthly touch) for the website. The problems are:
    1. I disabled the default homepage and created a new a static one. Now, I am not able to get rid of the default homepage. When I click on the homepage, it shows a message “No results found”.

    2. The name that I have assigned to the tags (for e.g. Home, Recommendations, Contact) appear on the body copy of the content, Its so silly to have the homepage also saying “HOME”. there’s no way I am being able to get rid of this.
    Can someone help? Thanks in advance.

    How did you disable the home page did you in Settings Readings and select static page set Home page you created as front page

    Actually, someone did this for me – he used the disable homepage button on the panel of elegant themes.
