newbie here but how do.i get it to look like this

  • Hi all

    Im new to wordpress and am stuck in a rut at the minute.

    So the problem is I have a good idea and know what i need to add to make my idea a reality and wordpress can do this.

    So here is my problem…. i have installed wordpress and some plugins and also a theme. Now when i choose the theme it looks nice, its the hueman and the demo looks nice with all the links and how its set out.

    Now i know i need to add stuff to my wordpress but it just doesnt look anything like it at the moment.

    So once i have created pages on wordpress how do.i get the links setup on the homepage like it is in the demo.

    Im lost..someone help.

    I dont know if it is what you say ‘links’, but you can set Menus in Appearance – Menus.

    I don’t think we can be of much help without website url and theme name. Please provide these for us.

    i have added live demo button on single product using some code from google in function.php

    but the demo link not working the demo url is like PRODUCT-TITLE.SITEURL.TLD

    i want to make it working and show demo to users….

    how it working plzz reply a best answer’s

    Hi sorry i was a bit vague in my original post.

    The theme we have installed is https://demo-hueman.presscustomizr.com/ ( this is the theme in demo )

    Like i said our wordpress is new and we are getting to grips with it. but we are wanting something like the demo looks where the home page stays the same ( other than maybe new bits added when posts are made ).

    may i just add but when i go to appearance>menus we dont have any yet. are these easy to setup

    Question is how do i get it to look like this?

    As to menus below Hueman logo ( PostFormats,Lifestyle,Music…), they are set in appearance > menu by checking Theme locations as ‘Header’. Add as many link items as you need.

    Left and right columns are set by widget.
    They are set in Appearance > Customize > Dynamic Sidebars and Widgets.
    See Primary for left column and Secondary for right column.
    Add any widgets you need.
