Newbie asks: is there an autoresponder that works with Jetpack contact form
-
Please forgive my possibly naive question: I have searched the forums; maybe I am not using the correct terminology.
I’m setting up a WordPress site for an old-fashioned print community magazine, and I’ve created a page in which we ask locals to submit information about community events. This page includes a contact form that I created using Jetpack’s contact form capability. This contact form doohickey works fine, but it doesn’t seem to include an option for responding to the people who fill it out. After a site visitor submits info using this form, I would like the visitor to see a little message that says, basically, “thanks for submitting your info, we will do xyz with it.” You know, so that the visitor doesn’t feel like their info disappeared into an indifferent abyss.
I believe this is called an “autoresponder.” Is there a plugin–or another Jetpack thingy–that does this simple thing? Or do I have to download a full-feature “forms” plugin like Gravity Forms? Here is the relevant page:

Thanks in advance for any advice.
