  • hey ,
    i am new to wordpress, i just installed it on the site
    and it was fine for the past year.

    now i am getting this error message when trying to browse my blog

    “Error establishing a database connection”

    can anyone help or tell me what to check first and how?

  • @elife. Please create a database then run wordpress again. note the name of the database, the username(root by default) and the password(blank by default) Wish you well

    Contact your hosts and check whether they have any problems with their MySQL server.
