New WP user… who’s on first?

    Ok. I’m a new WP user…I purchased a ‘business plan,’ and am able to try & somewhat customize themes, but I’m not able to either use a downloaded theme or add plugins.
    I have IX Hosting, and read someplace that I need to self-host.

    I keep seeing a box saying ‘DNS configuration required.’ I try to enter my hosts DNS, but the fields don’t accept it; I’m not sure where I made a wrong turn. I’ve tried so many things I’ve really gotten confused about what the heck I need to do (thus, the ‘who’s on first’ title).

    All I want to do is use WP with my host server, and get my domain to point to the IX DNS.
