New wp site w/minor tweaks – opinions?

I just finished putting up a WP blog to be used as a recruiting tool for our University. We’re going to have students/staff/faculty/alums setup as contributors to talk about various things around campus, etc.

Right now I’ve only got 2 bloggers setup, me and my graduate assistant, as examples for the administration who have been pushing on this so fervently.

I’ve put in a few plugins, including AddSig, Ultimate Tag Warrior and Image Headlines. I’m using the tags to manually create links to show blog posts by specific contributors. The template is Blue Marinée 1.0.1 with a few very minor tweaks.

Anyway, what do you think? Considering I’ve not touched a WP install since before 1.5 and I’m not a php person I think I’m doing ok.
