Why is new version forcing a .php extension on the login screen “Map a new wp-login.php instead default. This also need to include .php extension.”

I used to use this very well without the added extension and even other security plugins allow for a simple link without the extension.

How can I override this and allow simple folder structure without .php extension like how it used to be?

    Hi,
In a few environments, particularly when combined with specific server features, this seems to trigger some issues. To mitigate this, it necessitates the inclusion of a PHP solution. However, it should not affect your work in any way unless you specifically desire customization without it.

    Thanks
