New WordPress UI? How to set author?

  • There’s a new UI for WordPress, it seems.

    I’m creating a new post, and I’ve managed to track down the various elements (e.g. Featured Image) that are hidden from the start.

    But, I have not been able to find the field for selecting the author from the list of users. With the old UI you could scroll to the top of the page and check/uncheck various items you wanted to appear, but I don’t see that feature now.

    Can anyone point me to where I set the author for a post?

    Are you referring to the new block editor?
    I am able to use the document (settings) area to change the author of a post.
    What do you see in the document (settings) area of a post?

    Thank you, lisa. I was able to find it in that Document “Status & Visibility” area.
