New WordPress 3.9 Installation with WAMP

  • Hi, just a few minutes ago, i began to create a new website with this version of WordPress, but for my surprise, this new instalation doesn’t pass from the first step; when i indicate the Database, User, Password, etc… and click to the next step, the install process get in blank page, although the web browser was indicating the step 2… looks like the process has an error or similar.

    The environment is: Windows 7, Last WAMP 32 bits, WordPress 3.9 es_ES

    My solution was to use the 3.8.3 version and upgrade to 3.9 but… this is not the right way!

  • On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_trail_blog. Could that be the problem?

    Hi akhand, thanks for your response!, the curiously thing is i am using root user for create localhost websites, after i change this settings when i publish it on Internet Server, but using 3.8.3 works perfect! and doing exactly the same process with 3.9 installer doesn’t work.
