• Hello,
I created a minimalist theme for wordpress 1.3 called Conestoga Street. Download and directions are available here.

  • Nice, I added it and it is now available to viewers in my theme switcher. I do like the header image font, but am too cheap (and it’s too expensive regardless) so I will have to find something similar to replace the image. ??

Very clean and simple. I think it looks great!

    Congrats on your newborn!
Hehe and have fun being the parenthood if this is your first.
Thank you for sharing your theme and keep up the good work!

very nice work! i am using this on my new site cssexpert.com

great design… I think it’s one of the best minimalist wordpress designs out there.

What is that font in the header?

Maybe it’s my installation of Firefox but I get an article not found error when clicking Theron’s link and trying to see it from the Themes page doesn’t work for me either.

I’n new to this theme also. Where do I edit the “about me” part. It currently says “My name is Mike and this is my weblog”.

Hope there’s a way to change this.

Pagmatic, look in the theme’s footer.php file for the “About Me” section.

    thanks:)

    Macmanx,

I see that you’re using RIN; but when I was using it, I could NOT get any of the multiple links to show up; as they are now with CS. Any idea why this is happening?

    Thanks

Please define “multiple links” and “now with CS.” I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about.

Multipe links: the regular links; and the other links. Look on my site: https://mikepaglia.com and you’ll see two categories of them. Perhaps I should’ve just said that beforehand.

CS: that’s Conestoga Street. I was too lazy to spell it.

To get the links to show up in Rin like that, use get_links_list for the link-calling function in sidebar.php rather than just get_links .

how do I do that? Is that an edit in one of the files? Sorry, I’m new at this.

Please explain in detail; screenshots would be great:)

Thanks…I’ll draw a caricature of you for your help.
