• Hi there, so I’ve been using the plugin for the last 5 months and been super happy with it. With the recent update of Woocommerce, I just noticed that there’s another field under a product’s Inventory field.

Specifically, the new field is called GTIN, UPC, EAN or ISBN. Is it possible for the plugin to ”copy paste” the EAN to the new field for all my products? It’s gonna hurt like hell to do it for my 1300 products.

This is the screenshot of how it looks like:

    Hi, @tehcook,

    Yes, that’s possible.

Please go to our “Product Tools” section (in “WooCommerce > Settings > EAN > Tools”), locate the “Copy to product meta” tool (“Copy EAN to the product meta for all products” checkbox) and set the “Meta key” option there to _global_unique_id. Then “Save changes”.

Additionally, you can make it so that if you add or update the EAN, it will be automatically copied to the new field. To do that, locate the “Product Actions > Automatic actions” section (on the same “Product Tools” page) and set the “New product” and “Update product” options there to “Copy to product meta”.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.

And if you like the plugin, please consider leaving us a rating.
