New Window pop up feature

    Hi,

    Thank you for providing us with with very useful feature for GF 2. I was wondering if there is a feature for a link to be opened up as a new window through the form? I have a number of GF forms with Guidance notes on them which goes to a PDF document. Is there a way to have this open in a new window? I can hard code this in via html but I was wondering if this feature can be made possible via the editor itself.

    Hey,

    I really like the idea – worth doing.

    Might save someone from clicking away from the entry page.

    I’ll add an option in the next update to control the target for newly created links (it wont change existing submissions).

    You’ll find the option in the Forms -> Settings -> CKEditor menu.

    Hey,

    Just confirming that as of the latest version (1.10.x) there is now a ‘Link target’ option in the Forms -> Settings -> CKEditor menu.

    Here you’ll be able to choose ‘new window’ to automatically make all links open using target=”_blank”
