New Website, linked pages

Hi all, I have just started using the wordpress Scout website, it has pre formed links to beavers cubs and scouts, but when I attempt to edit these pages it says they dont exist, i cant see anywhere on the dashboard to be able to edit these pages, and also i cant seem to alter the font on the home page to customise it to our group, is this possible, I have tried clicking everthing I can find to try and get the website up and running so but far (after three hours) I only have a basic home page. thank you for your support and pointers.
