New website about to go live in need of validation and any other advice

    I’m a newbie here really although I think I’ve learned a fair amount of wordpress in the last few months.

    However, certain areas of code continue to baffle and confuse me.

    It is going live in a few days. My main concern is that it has not been properly validated … mainly as I’m struggling to understand the process…

    Also it the front page displays incorrectly in IE 8.

    Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Credit goes to CSSIgniter for the original SixtyOne theme which I have adapted only slightly.
