New version total fail

  • It does not update to a new version, when installing on a new website you enter a password to install and then there is only an advertisement for the PRO version. Hell, yesterday everything worked as it should and today it’s a total flop and manual work. Back to the trees.

    Thanks for your valuable feedback.

    We didn’t remove any of the free features of Duplicator, and every feature of the previous Duplicator free version exists in the current version, and it should work as it worked before.

    Could you please elaborate more on the issues you found, I will be happy to help you.

    Hello,
    on Thursday a full day of testing, preparing a perfect installation to quickly launch new sites. Tested everything worked perfectly. On Friday update to new version, created package in new version. Uploaded to the new website and only the message that I should get the PRO version was visible. Same server, same domain, same database as the day before. I start up one more site from Friday’s backup and took screenshots. Hope this helps. I’m coming back to manual work, I have more control over it. And it is not dependent on updating the plugin. Tomorrow I will remove the one star as well. The rating was given in frustration after throwing away a whole day and hoping for an easier job.

    Thanks for pointing out this issue. We confirm that this is a bug in the latest release.

    Our development team has fixed it in the next Duplicator release, and we are trying to launch the new release as soon as possible.

    I have the same error, the website I did the duplication no longer exist and the only backup shows that same validation error, how can I fix it?
