My front end is fine becaue I have set up a custom currency symbol for the front end using the English Charecter symbol for Omani Riyals (OMR) but the back end is all messed up.

It is great that you’ve successfully managed currency representation on the front end.

You may want to report this issue on GitHub. Doing that will bring it straight to the attention of the core developers, and they can check the issue directly. You can open up a new bug report here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/new/choose
You’ll want to give them the exact steps to follow to reproduce the issue.
