WP-Optimize version 3.2.12 has been released 6th of February 2023.

Now a month later 9th of March 2023 a changed version with same 3.2.12 version number has been released.

    This is very confusing.

    Please fix your release procedure.

@ov3rfly Sorry for the confusion. We will look into this. A new release 3.2.13 will be available in early next week

Feel free to mark this issue as ‘resolved’ after a plugin update with a fix has been released, not before.

    Thanks.

    Hi @ov3rfly ,

The existing release is compatible with WP 6.2. WordPress released WP 6.2 (release candidate 1) yesterday. We updated our plugin listing to mark that we were compatible with it (in accordance with their guidelines). www.remarpro.com automatically update the “last updated” field when this is done (plugin authors have no direct access to that field). Everything here is working as intended. None of that was related to any future WP-Optimize release.

File readme.txt in download archive has been changed. Now there exist two different archives for 3.2.12 with a different file hash. Security plugins might complain about changed/altered files as they see same version but different files.

Your changelog at www.remarpro.com shows for 3.2.12

    3.2.12 – 06/Feb/2023

while on same page in top right info area it shows

    Version: 3.2.1
    Last updated: 2 days ago

    This is confusing and misleading.

Please re-evaluate your release and update procedure.
