Hi, thanks for your awesome plugin.
But i added my shortcodes in more than 500 pages and the new update made them all “inactive”. They are just displayed now in “plain text” like this for example :

    [sc:Banniere2]

I can’t change all these codes manually.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Same issue here – all broken – in my case it stripped out the script and style tags. Also rewrote a lot of the HTML and JavaScript randomly, inserting numbers, removing random strings. It’s a mess.

I had to use the Rollback plugin to revert shortcoder to version 4.6. Then all my shortcodes started working again.

For me, the code in the ram HTML and Javascript code in the shortcode was displayed instead of rendered.

    Hi @manray7,

Please note that this format of using “colon” [sc:hello] is deprecated due to perofrmance reasons.

Could you please rename them to [sc name="hello"] ?

If you are using [sc:hello] in shortcode content, it would have not worked every earlier in 4.x. This format will work only in posts.

WordPress itself does not honor this syntax so it is better to replace “:” with ‘name=””‘

    Thanks,

    @mbloomfield,

The issue is because of weird WordPress behavior. I’ve handled this in v5.0.3.
Can you please try and see if it solves your issue ?

    Thanks,
    Aakash

Could you please send a temporary administrator username and password, website URL to my email ? I’ll quickly login and check.

    Hi @vaakash,

I sent you an email with an example of a shortcode that isn’t working. Thank you for responding.

    Hi @soidog,

Could you please check if the script is wrapped within <script> </script> tag ?
If not can be please wrap it up with scrip tag ?

    Thanks,
    Aakash
