new version is kicking off other plugin from the Dashboard menu

    Sure, thank you. The plugin site is https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/ I had to buy the “Download Manager Pro”, but I think there is free version as well. Thank you so much!

    I downloaded the Free version of this WP Download Manager and activated also Simple Intranet Directory on WordPress version 3.91 using Chrome browser with 2014 default theme with no issues. I suspect the Pro version adds some code that may conflict, or else other plugins you have loaded have conflicting code. I suggest you enable debug mode in your wp-config.php file and test for warnings or errors (google that if needed).
