new version html5 how to add graphic

  • Having trouble adding a graphic for the new built in HTML5 player. Cant seem to make sense of the process over on the right. I think the easiest way would be just to add the jpg to the code.

    Here is the shortcode

    [video width="376" height="272" mp4="https://rackjite.com/wp-content/uploads/mahermono9132013.mp4"][/video]

    What would I add in there to apply poo.jpg for the player? I have tried a few things that don’t work. ??

    Per usual I probably asked the wrong question. ??

    I want to add a picture to the video so it is not a black screen. Which I would assume everyone wants to do in every case.

    The picture I want to use is at https://mypicture.jpg

    How do I add that to the shortcode?

    I don’t understand.
    After endless googling I just cannot find how to add an image to the onboard WP html5 player. One would assume everyone using it would put an image to go with the video? Not just a black screen. Why am I having so much trouble with this?
