FYI, 5.7.5 broke the variable products on my clients site. ANY variation can be chosen and the lowest price is charged. Price doesn’t show on product page, no matter that is chosen in the dropdown, but will Add to Cart at the lowest price and will allow them to check out. Just entered a ticket in Siteground, but wanted to warn other to check their WooCommerce sites if using SG Optimizer w/ product variations.

I did NOT expect it to be SG Optimizer causing the problem – thought it was the latest WooCommerce update or another plugin, however a few hours of troubleshooting and I found that the only relief was found in fully deactivating SG Optimizer. Tried turning off all minification, no file combining or deferring. Total deactivation was the only resolution to the VERY expensive glitch.

    Hey @abuzon

I’ve tested the latest WooCommerce with SG Optimizer and I don’t see any issues with product variations.

Would it be possible to provide your site URL or your ticket ID, so I can check what is causing the issue on your site?

    Regards,

Looks like it was HTML minification – which I’ve never seen cause an issue, but still, I thought I tested thoroughly. Oops!

We are also running on this issue, costumers can buy out of stock variations and some in stock variations cannot be added to the cart. We tried to debug conflicts between plug-ins with no luck. We have disabled SG Optimizer, but we tracked the issue to be with the “Remove Query Strings From Static Resources” option, when turned on it raises this issue. We had this option on for a long time with no problems.
