    Hi,
I upgraded to your latest verison 4.6, but the interface disappeared.
/wp-admin/tools.php?page=redirection.php now seems to redirect to /wp-admin.

Reverting to version 4.5.1 from backup solved this. Please check.

    Thanks,
    Jack.

Are you running any kind of permission changing plugins?

Exactly the same issue, and no permission changing plugins installed.

    /wp-admin/tools.php?page=redirection.php&sub=options

    just ends up at

    /wp-admin/

redirects are still working, but I cannot add new redirects or manage existing ones.

Where can I download the previous version ?

    TIA.

Does the Redirection option appear in your Tools menu? What is your user role, as seen on the /wp-admin/users.php page? Are you logged in as an administrator?

It does appear in the Tools menu, but that also ends up at
    /wp-admin/
Yes I’m logged on as an administrator

I’m unable to reproduce the problem. Would it be possible to get a login to a site where this is happening? If so please contact me at https://redirection.me/contact/

Thanks to @peppermintos I think I’ve tracked the problem down to the use of a very old version of PHP that is no longer supported by WordPress (PHP version 5.5)

If you replace redirection-capabilities.php with the version here:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/johngodley/redirection/master/redirection-capabilities.php

Then it should fix the problem. As soon as this is confirmed I’ll release an update. I will also soon bump the minimum supported version of PHP.

I would very much suggest updating to a more recent version of PHP (such as 7.x). Not only is this more secure, it provides a major performance boost.

Thanks for your quick responee, I appreciate that!

I replaced the php file, and now the interface loads.
But the redirection lines are empty, see image.

Using WP 4.9.1 and PHP 5.6
(yeah I know, but I’m losing certain functionality when using higher versions)

    Many thanks and kind regards,
    Jack

@jack-all you will need to re-select a display mode from the display dropdown (such as ‘standard display’)

And what functionality are you losing by using higher versions?

    (@jack-all)

Catch 22. When running PHP 7.3, the site gives errors 500 on every page.
And I can’t update WP to 5.x before upping to PHP 7.x ??
Didn’t find time yet for finding out what’s wrong.

    Hi John,
By selecting a display mode, I am able to see my redirects now. I didn’t expect that, for this wasn’t necessary before.
I also can’t seem to save that setting, or am I missing something? Do I need to select a display mode every time I go to the Redirects admin page? Can’t it default to Show All?

    Thanks again!
    Jack.

I’ve released 4.6.1. It’s probably better if you just update to that.

Obviously I can’t speak for Jack All, but 4.6.1 is working perfectly for me now, many thanks.

    Hi John,

I can confirm v4.6.1 of your plugin is working fine.

Thanks for your plugin and support!

    Kind regards,
    Jack.
