new version 1.1.1, can I update?

    Hi
    I saw the notification in my themes that new version 1.1.1. getwid is available.

    I’ve customized the theme/look and feel of my site, will this update affect my site?
    is it ok to update?

    Hello,

    Do you mean, you want to update the Getwid Base theme to the latest 1.1.1 theme version?(for now, the latest available version of the Getwid plugin is 1.5.2).
    If so, in case you’ve edited your website only via back-end, nothing should be lost with the theme update.
    In case you’ve made changes to the theme codes, then you may lose the changes with the update. We recommend installing the child theme and make all the code changes there, not to lose them with the next update.
    Actually, it would be much safer to backup your files and database before every update.
